Additional Information:
. .Mothers Nest was born from a shared belief: that every mother and child deserves a safe, stable place to call home. Founded as a charitable initiative of Miniopolisa builder known for its commitment to sustainability, affordability, and intentional livingMothers Nest is growing into a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to supporting mothers and children in times of crisis.Miniopolis, whose mission is to build residential homes that are energy-efficient, sustainable, and affordable, continues to be the builder of choice for Mothers Nest projects. Their vision to create communities that live off the land and thrive in harmony with nature aligns beautifully with our mission to help families rebuild their lives with dignity. While Miniopolis remains our founding partner and construction expert, Mothers Nest is evolving with its own nonprofit governance and fiscal sponsorship. This allows us to focus fully on providing support services and housing solutions for families facing difficult circumstancesalways with compassion at the core.In February, we hosted our very first fundraiser, the Masquerade of Love, which raised over $35,000 toward our goal of $250,000 to build and award a home to a mother in need right here in Lee County. We are also actively building partnerships with like-minded organizations to further our mission. To stay connected with our community and grow awareness, we host monthly networking events at Millennium Brewery in partnership with Miniopolis. These gatherings bring together local leaders, businesses, and supporters who believe in creating tangible changeone home, one family at a time.Together, we dont just build homeswe build hope.
